The current framework of Cyber Ranges (CR) already provides effective cybersecurity awareness, regulatory compliance, and incident response capabilities through sector specific modules and immersive simulations. This system provides structured and effective training for critical infrastructure sectors. However, integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) can further amplify these benefits. AI-powered solutions provide personalized learning paths and automated difficulty adjustments and real-time performance feedback to create a more adaptive and engaging learning environment. The AI simulations produce realistic dynamic attack scenarios which help trainees improve their ability to detect threats and respond to them. AI-based compliance training maintains continuous updates of regulatory changes which keeps participants aware of the current cybersecurity requirements. AI improves both efficiency and engagement and adaptability by delivering content that matches individual needs and current learning progress. AI integration with CRs will enable new capabilities which strengthen preparedness against current and future security threats. This research investigates how AI technologies can build upon CRs to strengthen cybersecurity resilience for critical infrastructure sectors. |
